Take Me Back

Have I told you lately that I love you? Have I told you there's no one else above you?

        Nothing like good ole' nostalgia. As I sit here listening to Rod Stewart's Have I Told You Lately, on YouTube, I consider life's simplest pleasures that we often take for granted. Approximately 10 years ago (Wow! an entire decade ago) as I
laid in my bead with the relatively mobile radio on the lowest volume possible, pressed against my ear, under the pillow, playing my mother's Rod Stewart CD on repeat, track number 10 or 14 i can't recall-Ease my troubles that's what you do; never would I have dreamt in a million years that this would become a treasured memory.
         Let me fast forward a decade to the ambition-filled 19 -year old who struggles to enjoy the moment. Experience has taught me that these moments I wish were over will soon become the "better/good ole days" and it would be wise to make the most of them, but that is easier said than done.

"So much things to say right now i got so much things to say"...Sigh 5 months ago i could have written a 500 word essay in this blog about my opinion on MUSIC and its degradation over the past decade; but somehow i have moved on much to my somewhat dismay from such a place to learning to ignore and seek the oldies i love and kill that replay butttonn.

I made a promise that i would start using this blog in the summer..and a week has passed so i believe its time. When i have more to write i will update this blog but until then..though i must say i never thought i wud ever become a "blogger"...its almost like tweeting cept way less...something Sionarah!!
